Jennifer Love Hewitt’s dirty dog tricks
Jennifer Love Hewitt is embroiled in a custody battle over her dog.
Despite an amicable split from fiance Ross McCall earlier this month, neither party can bear to be separated from their boxer Mona.
Jennifer is even believed to be resorting to dirty tricks to win the pooch’s loyalties.
A source revealed to the New York Daily News newspaper: “Jennifer is even attempting to change Mona’s name so that when Ross calls, the dog won’t come.”
Jennifer has previously revealed the couple put another of their dogs, cavalier King Charles spaniel Charlie, on anti-depressant drug Prozac after the pet began behaving oddly.
She said: “Charlie started doing this weird, like, intense licking thing, where she would, like, lick the air. She’s got an anxiety disorder, so they put her on Prozac. Now, she’s as happy as can be.”

We were all pretty shocked when Jennifer Love Hewitt and her fiancé Ross McCall broke off their relationship. And it sounds like it was a case of too much drama.
According to Us magazine, the “Ghost Whisperer” actress was a bit too clingy for the Scottish stud, which put a real strain on their relationship.
Former GW costume supervisor Claudia Wick told Us, “She would call McCall up and go, ‘Can you come and sit with me? I’m cold.’ She would drag him on the set and then pout and they’d fight. Mainly, it was her needing something from him: ‘Can you say you love me?’”
Wick added that Hewitt suffers from some serious insecurity. “She would try on clothes over clothes. She would not have lights on or mirrors in the dressing room. It’s sad because she had a beautiful body.”
An inside source also revealed that J. Love’s success was hard for Ross to handle, given that he isn’t as big of a star as she is. “It was clear they were not on the same level. It was hard for him.”
But McCall told press that there still may be hope for them yet. “We are working it out. We are both still wearing our rings.”
