Courtney Love has become Lindsay Lohan’s sobriety coach as she helps the troubled actress stay away from drink and drugs.

The Hole singer – widow of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain – has battled drink and drug addiction in the past and wants to pass her knowledge and advice to the troubled ‘Mean Girls’ actress, who has been in rehab five times.

She said: “I’ve taken up Lohan because nobody else will. [She's] further down the line than I was, because there was no [gossip websites like] TMZ then.”

This is not the first time Courtney,47, has revealed she is helping 25-year-old Lindsay – who is currently completing her court ordered community service – stay away from drink and drugs.

She recalled to Details magazine: “I went up to Lindsay’s room one time and there was a show on called ’101 Celebrity Oops’ and I am like every other one, you know – boobs out, legs everywhere, throwing s**t at Madonna, you know, whatever. I’m like ‘Lindsay, look! Drugs are bad!’ ”

Courtney has had help from her celebrity pals in the past to help beat her addictions, in particular, Orlando Bloom.

Speaking in 2008, she revealed: “We chant every day. The 12-step programme demands that you have a spiritual practice that you do daily.

“I love Orlando for this. He doesn’t mind being outed as a Buddhist. I don’t mind talking about it because it has changed my entire life, changed everything – restructured my body, restructured my physicality. Truly I can, not all the time, but I can take joy at really s****y situations.”

Tameka Raymond filed court documents in Georgia asking the singer to be stripped of joint physical custody of their sons Usher, four, and Naviyd, three, because he has repeatedly skipped his legal obligations.

According to her documents, Tameka claims her former spouse has repeatedly failed to seek her permission to take the boys out of state, get her approval before hiring nannies, make her the first person he asks to look after the children when he is away for more than eight hours, all of which he is legally obligated to do.

She also alleges the 33-year-old star failed to allow her to have custody of the children for two weeks this summer or during the Christmas break in 2010, despite previously agreeing the access, and claims he closed her Saks 5th Avenue credit card after specifically saying he wouldn’t so she can no longer take advantage of the “special benefits” the card offers.

Usher is allegedly behind on $34,000 worth of payments after promising Tameka $5,000-a-month to pay for a nanny.

She is also requesting more child support, arguing there has been a “substantial change” in her former spouse’s income since they divorced in 2009.

A hearing on the matter has been scheduled for Wednesday (29.11.11).

Longoria, 36, and Cruz, 26 – the younger brother of actress Penélope Cruz – have been dating since last winter. This past week, they took their romance coast to coast, with stops in Miami and California.

Longoria filed for divorce from Parker, an NBA star, last November after three years of marriage. Despite that breakup, the actress says she still believed in the power of love.

“There’s a reason I fell in love and got married. I believed in it,” she says. “Supposedly I should be angry, resentful and disillusioned about relationships. But I’m not.”

Hollywood heavyweight Harvey Weinstein wants curvy, latex-loving pop princess Katy Perry to play Marilyn Monroe in a Broadway version of “My Week with Marilyn.”

The powerful Tinseltown producer said Perry would be an ideal fit to bring Monroe to stage, in a production that he’s targeting for “five to 10 years” down the road.

Weinstein’s studio now has Oscar-nominated actress Michelle Williams playing America’s most famous sex symbol in the flick that’s in current release.

“I think Katy would be perfect to play Marilyn Monroe,” said Weinstein, who runs The Weinstein Co. with his brother, Bob.

“She would knock it out of the universe.”

The movie, “My Week with Marilyn,” is based on the memoirs of Colin Clark, who spent a week with Monroe in 1957 while she filmed “The Prince and the Showgirl” in the United Kingdom.

She told Stylist magazine: “My dream holiday would be with my children, of course, and my boyfriend. We’d probably just go skiing somewhere really beautiful and have hot chocolate, in a cabin.

“I’m not a good skier but I enjoy the process of learning. I do get frustrated when I see little kids go really fast beside me but, for the most part, once you get going and you’ve got an idea of how you’re going to ski, it’s kind of fun.”

The ‘Gimme More’ hitmaker admits it is hard to go to public places because of her fame, and she sometimes contemplates going out in disguise so she isn’t recognised.

She said: “In some situations I’d love to be able to put a disguise on and go to a restaurant and not be noticed.”

As well as skiing, Britney has another dare-devil ambition.

She said: “I would like to go skydiving.”

Although she is keen to go an activity holiday, Britney she struggles to stay motivated to go the gym, even though she always feels good after working out.

She said: “[My biggest daily challenge] is trying to get up and go work out in the morning. I haven’t worked out in, like, two weeks.

“Sometimes it’s hard to be motivated. But once you’ve got up and do it you feel like you’ve conquered the world.”

The couple – who play on-screen lovers Edward Cullen and Bella Swan are renting a flat in the English capital’s Notting Hill area, to use as a base when they are in Europe, according to the MailOnline.

The spacious flat has an open plan kitchen, modern decor throughout, and a master bedroom with a large bed, comfy arm chairs and a stylish dressing table.

The stylish apartment also has a second bedroom, an open plan living area and a large rooftop terrace which offers fantastic views over the city.

London-born Robert, 25, likes to spend as much time in his home country as he can, and American Kristen, 21, has been based in the UK recently while filming ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’.

The couple were reunited in London last week to attend the British premiere of ‘The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn – Part 1′.

Robert and Kristen were also spotted out on a date on Monday night (21.11.11), watching folk singer Laura Marling at the exclusive Soho House members’ club, where they caused a stir with staff by turning up dressed in casual hoodies and jeans.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “It took a while for staff to realise who they were. Once in, they kept it low-key by standing at the back sipping pints. You’d never have guessed they were film stars.”

The couple were said to be celebrating the end of their promotional tour for their film.

The video – which details a destructive relationship between a couple, played by the Barbadian beauty and model Dudley O’Shaughnessy – can only be broadcast after 10pm because their love scenes were deemed too “suggestive” to watch before the watershed.

The promo has previously been slammed after it appeared to allude to the abusive relationship Rihanna had with her former boyfriend, Chris Brown, who pleaded guilty to assault in 2009, by showing the 23-year-old star and Dudley raving with friends, fighting and getting intimate with one another.

I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends. Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater God.

Filming of the controversial mini-movie also angered a farmer in Belfast, Northern Ireland, earlier this year when he kicked Rihanna and her film crew out of his field because he was unhappy with her skimpy outfit.

The actress has moved on from her most iconic part as the lead character in TV series ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’, and would only play her again if it was for her two-year-old daughter, Charlotte’s, favourite children’s show.

Referring to furry red monster character Elmo, Sarah said: “I could share a scene with Elmo. I mean, I’ve worked with some great people ,  Andy Garcia, Forest Whitaker – but they’re not Elmo.”

Sarah, 34, added she would also agree to share the scene with another of the show’s more fitting characters, Count von Count, who is modelled on a vampire.

She added: “Yep, okay. But that would be the only place I’d return as Buffy.”

Sarah finished on ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ in 2003 when she was 26, and is glad it ended while she was still young because it means she has plenty of time to develop her career in other directions.

She added to The Sunday Times newspaper: “One of the beauties of being on ‘Buffy’ was it afforded me the chance to live other experiences.

“I’m lucky that I don’t feel I have the pressure some actors do. I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished and I’m not chasing something. A lot of actors are.”

Sarah now stars in new US TV show ‘Ringers’.
